With 2016, comes a new year, and a new image for TUPF. You will notice our new logo that is more clean and streamlined. You will also notice our new website. We’ve worked on speeding things up and making TUPF.ca more modern looking. We hope you like it.
This year’s festival will run from June 10-25th, 2016. Our call for works is officially reopened and will stay open until April 1st, 2016. Earlybird entries will end March 1st, 2016. Our theme this year is Urban Playground. Have fun with this year’s theme.
Toronto Urban Photography Festival (TUPF) is an annual event that adds a critical voice to contemporary photographic practices within the context of the urban. TUPF uses critical insights of urban environments and photography to question what constitutes both the urban in context of the city, as well as street within the context of photography. By engaging photographic practitioners and visual urbanists, TUPF creates a dialogue surrounding how the city is imagined and viewed as part of our daily human fabric.
The TUPF Call For Works is now open until April 1st. Hurry and you can still submit by the Early Bird deadline—March 1st—and save $5 on your entry fee.
Our theme this year is Urban Playground. Have fun!
We will send you information about upcoming events and activities, as well as other stuff we find cool. Don’t worry, we won’t sell your info to other people.
